Education is the answer...

What may surprise Mr. Mack, and many others like him, is that the basis of neo-Conservatism is exactly what he's suggesting: showing the terrorists that there is a better way; that a free, liberal, democratic society will allow them to move forward from dictatorial regimes, poverty, and a downtrodden existence. Of course, Mr. Mack is likely among those who believe that eliminating a vile, perverse, oppressive, criminal dictator and replacing him with an open, representative democracy is an atrocity so trying to get him to understand that his opinion and that of Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, and Don Rumsfeld are pretty much aligned would be futile.
